This pad is wonderful to say the least. I have a certain rug ( dont want to mention the brand) that I wanted to put pad under w/o buying the $120 dollar one that you can get from the dealer. This pad absolutely has done the trick. I did have to trim it some because it hung out of the rug a bit, but that was super easy with scissors.There is absolutely no movement on my hardwood floors.this being said with 2 dogs running around and a 4 year old. I wouldn't say this was "plush" padding, but it's better that any I've ever had for an area rug before. The felt holds the rug in place and the rubber backing keeps it from moving on floor. 5*****'s for sure.
