I bought these because I recently was able to do a muscle up and in my excitement of wanting to do better have torn my calluses and my hands up doing muscle ups every day. They fit well and do the job of protecting my calluses and my hands. I managed to rip my palm open still, but I think that still going to happen from time to time because the leather needs to be broken in.But these thing protect my hands from destroying my hands doing high volume bar work. The bag that it came in is nice because I store my lifting straps with it too and it keeps my bag from getting to chalky.Side note, I was able to do some snatch stuff with the straps on, so that's a plus.
