I suspect those claiming the sizing is way off just don't know how to wear a corset. I'm 5'8", 145lbs, usually wear a medium, purchased a medium. I loosened up the ties, fastened the front, then cinched the ties in. I'm left with a nice 2-3" gap in the back. The corset has a panel inside that will cover up to about a 6" gap. I'm very pleased with the product, especially for the price.If you're having trouble fastening the front, try lying down on your bed while you hook it together.
