The dress is sewn very well. It doesn't really stretch. I don't think that it's very warm, which would be perfect for summer. But the dress ran too big. We bought 2 dresses for our daughters. The dress that we originally ordered for our 2 year old fitted my 4 year old. But the one that we bought for the 4 year old is way too large. We had to return that.The second time I ordered, for some reason i got a different type of this dress. The dress was intended for my 2 year old, and again the dress was way to big. My 4 year old tried the dress and it fit her. The dress was about 4 inches above the floor. Also, the material type was slightly different, which was ok by me. But I really didn't like that the bow was completely different. It seemed as though they used a regular birthday satin ribbon. I really wanted the flowergirls to match. :(
