I never knew "thin/watery" gels existed, or that they work best on saturated hair until I went for my first cut at a place that specializes in curly cuts and they totally changed my routine. Game changer. Gel works great--frizz has been almost completely eliminated--and doesn't make my hair crunchy. I put it on in the shower with a totally wet head, then use a micro fiber towel when I get out to take out the extra water and scrunch the curls. And the bottle has lasted waaaaay longer than I expected--don't need a lot, just make sure to work through hair well with hands and a comb.
