I selected this bouncing ball for my 5 and 9 year olds. It comes in a relatively small box, which holds the bouncing ball, a manual pump, and one extra plug for the ball. Not all of these balls come with a manual pump, so I thought that was really nice touch. Plus the extra plug was appreciated, because that way you don't have to worry about if you lose one. I started out by trying to inflate it with the manual pump, but decided I was way too lazy for that. I ended up running out to my garage, and using my compressor, which took me roughly 2 minutes. To inflate the ball, you simply pull out the plug, and place whatever you're using to inflate the ball with into the hole, then once the ball is full of air, you replace the plug.I tested it first to make sure that it was going to hold weight. I am around 130 lbs, and it held my weight bouncing on it just fine. I then unleashed my children onto it, and they bounced that sucker all over the living room. They've had it now for a couple days, and they play on it on and off throughout the day. It has already gotten a ton of use.This would make an awesome gift. It is such a fun activity for getting a bit of exercise. I would definitely recommend this.
