Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that these gaiters offer zero protection against dirt or debris. The material is flimsy and tears easily, leaving my precious motorcycle exposed to the elements .The only positive thing about these gaiters is that they fit well, but that's about it.
