A small piece of plastic snapped off the top and the thin plastic screen cover detached when I put this case together. If your screen gets dirty this case makes it hard to take apart and clean. I'm used to a Griffin Survivor for expensive devices and this was more difficult to use because it's so rigid. My G6 Play is a new but inexpensive phone so I didn't feel I needed a lot of protection and up close this case didn't look like it offered much. I can't speak to that more than the appearance because as soon as two pieces came off I packed it up for a return. It isn't a very attractive case either. I'd look elsewhere for protection, appearance and ease of use.
