I buy most of my meat in bulk and then separate, freeze in 1 meal quantities, these make packaging more than 1 meal in a ziploc bag really easy. When you pull from the freezer later - nothing is sticking to one another and you can grab what you need rather than having to take a sharp object and pierce between the 2 or 3 pieces. Have used for beef, pork, chicken and fish. I also use these when baking - when the baking goods are cooled and I want to freeze several things in 1 bag. It's a useful item to have.
