My wife and I have been running together for about a month, and so far, we're enjoying it. She still visits my gym, despite the fact that we have a perfectly adequate sweat lodge at home (only the club's models count the pulse correctly). Space-wise, it's quite efficient; I put it together myself; and in terms of quality of construction, I heard neither backlashes nor squeaks. I sprinkle liquid silicone on the runners at regular intervals, and it runs considerably more quietly throughout lessons. People who say it jumps or is unstable have obviously not installed it properly. While I did utilize pvc tiles in the kids' room because they were handy, I do recommend investing on a dedicated simulator mat. The electromagnetic simulator creates significant interference if plugged into the same outlet as a nearby electronic device (TV, projector, music center), thus it's best to use an outlet on the opposite side of the room. Feel free to use it if you've made the decision to shed pounds and improve your health.
