My apple smart keyboard slowly died and then it just wouldn't connect to my ipad pro anymore. Of course the serial number on the keyboard was on the fabric side that was worn down so I couldn't even send my serial number through apple to try to get some kind of compensation. This keyboard is great. It has a well placed apple pencil holder. It has a very protective case for your Ipad Pro. The keyboard itself has very good keys, a nice tactile feel and response and has along battery life. I have no problems with the connection. The keyboard stays on the cover with a magnet. One draw back is, I personally don't keep the keyboard wrapped up inside with my Ipad when carrying because I fear the keys may scratch my screen, but you can attach the keyboard to the outside of the case (there is a magnet) and it will hold on to the keyboard just fine. Overall this is a quality product for a great price.
