The fitted sheet of this set has seams on the top (barely visible) and the bottom (almost invisible) that you'll need to find in order to get the sheet on the mattress. There's no easy way to get the sheet on without trial and error. All the sides and ends are fitted with elastic, unlike most fitted sheets that elasticize only the sides or the ends. But once on, the sheet fits fine.The top sheet of this set is also different from most sheet sets. The top sheet isn't really long enough to tuck under the mattress by more than a couple of inches leading to concerns that the top sheet may come loose if you're one who moves around much in your sleep. So far, mine has not come loose despite the fact that I DO move around, so maybe this concern isn't as much of a worry as I initially thought.If I had this to do all over again, I'd worry less about thread count, and just get some high-quality 400 TC sheets for less than half the price. That said, the sheets ARE attractive.
