Great purchase! Barbell condition has gotten pretty bad

This was a great purchase for me especially during quarantining. With this, I am probably in the best shape in my life by working out at home. The only issue I'm having is the condition of the barbell adjustment. It's getting rusted. It sits in my living room at all times. Are you able to help here? Attached pictures. Other than that, the product is great
