I had read that if you don’t plan to pump very often, then a manual pump might be best to have. After 2 children and only having used an electric pump, I’d figure I would give it a try so I purchased this pump for baby #3. I only pump a few times a week, just for the rare occasions that I leave my baby for date night or something. Anyway, this pump has been awesome! I have easily pumped 5 ounces in less than 10 minutes each time I’ve used it. I love that I have complete control over the suction. I can hold for longer suction, resulting in more milk with each pump of the handle. Overall I’m very happy with it and in the past month haven’t used my electric pump at all!
