Excellent tires. The silence was pleasing to me, especially when compared to the noise produced by other studded tires. It was also a happy moment when the strength of the spikes was checked. This was done during the previous winter, when there was not very much snow, and I had to drive quite a bit on bare asphalt. The rubber performed exceptionally well during that time period, when the winter weather was still quite reminiscent of winter. For having spikes, these tires are quite quiet. Extremely persistent. The prongs are held firmly in place.

The secret was not revealed during the first winter.
