I chalk board painted. everything. It has made life so much more fun. I have a general black, matte aesthetic in my home anyway and now I C AN WRITE NOTES TO MY ROOMMATE ON EVERYTHING. It took her a minute to realize I had made our coffee table (among other things) a chalk board but now we leave each other notes every morning and night (we have opposite schedules) and it is fantastic.For more useful details:- it is easy to spray though be aware that it drips a bit which can leave both drip marks if you over spray and stain whatever you're drying the object on.- I've sprayed stuff with paint already on it as well as untreated wood. Both seem to work fine- Dries pretty fast.- cleans well. I've been using wipes but damp paper towels work. Don't let it get soaked repeatedly as that will wear the chalk board off.- Normal chalk works. I'm buying chalk pens too because they're generally brighter though.- the smell is strong as with any aerosol so use outdoors.
