We've been struggling with tummy time for our 8 week old. She lasts about 2 minutes before she starts whining and then crying. We got this because she really likes mirrors. While she didn't last too much longer the mirror really helped and I think after a few times she might come around! I also like how there are a few activity pieces when she becomes interested. I still placed the mat on a squishy yoga mat since it isn't too padded for hardwood floors and the back piece that props up doesn't prop up quite enough for a small baby so I rolled the mat to give it more of a prop.
