As a type 4 natural, I wanted to try a shampoo brush to detangle my hair gently, while soaking wet. I didn’t want a tangle teaser, the bristles are so small and close together. I was worried about breakage. So the bristles on this are sooooooo much better! It’s been an amazing addition to my wash day. It’s easy to clean, easy to grip, has less pulling and shedding than tangle teasers and cheap shampoo brushes. Great for detangling while wet, with conditioner before washing. I typically detangle then section twist, clip. If you have medium length to longer, type 4 hair.I would DEFINITELY recommend this brush for your supplies. I have inflammatory arthritis and it doesn’t hurt me terribly. This has REALLY become an integral part of my wash-day.
