I really wanted to like this book. A veteran-owned company, made in the USA, what is not to like? But .There are only 49.5 weeks in the book, not even a whole year. Maybe they expect me to travel for the other 2.5 weeks?There are only four lines per meal. Salad, vegetable, starch and meat are what are supposed to go there, I guess. If you have a picky eater and need two vegetables or you want to add a dessert, the list doesn't fit.Needed, pre-prep, and use up do work, although they have four lines each also. I would have liked to see some of those lines move to meals.Jobs are okay, I think. I think if I had children, I would want this list in a more visible place, like the refrigerator.The shopping list galls me. I have to take the whole book with me to use it. Behind it is Monday for the next week, so I can't cut it out. That means making my list twice or taking a photo of it which means having my phone out while I shop, or taking the whole book.What I would advise for a redesign is leading with the shopping list, placing it on the far left. Make it perforated if possible. That way, you lose Sunday of the week before. The added benefit is that it makes it easy to flip to the current week after the book is closed.For me, the book is merely okay. It will go on the pile of "oops."
