Pretty but I am not fully satisfied

I followed some reviews and bought a king size for my queen bed and yet, it is still too short on the sides. Baffling. Disappointing because I did on purpose to buy bigger because I like the sides to hang way lower. On one side it goes just to the top of the wooden part of the bed while on the other side, it goes down to just the mattress and shows the boxspring. And it's not like I can buy bigger. On another note, I bought the blue one and it's very pretty.
