Before spending on a bullet journal I used an old spiral notebook I had hanging around for a month or so to get the feel of it, and see what I wanted. (I made a lot of ugly mistakes.)Once I was sure I was going to stick with it, I bought this. It is exactly what I was liking for. The paper is just thick enough to feel substantial and not bleed through. (Black Sharpies will bleed through, though.) The index on the front, combined with the numbered pages, makes it easy to locate pages I don't use often. And the extra plastic covers should make it last until I have every page filled.
