This is a very sturdy and well-constructed gait belt.The fabric is much thicker and softer than the one it is replacing, and doesn't "dig" into the sensitive skin of my elderly father as much.The buckle is fast and easy to use, and solidly secure.The only reason for the four stars is, as others have commented, the 54" is too short and the 74" is excessively long.

A medium/in-the-middle size would be very helpful.
