It was my first time using these and overall they're a great product. The included sizes worked great for my car audio application where I was connecting 2-3 22-18ga wires.I used my Wagner heat gun to shrink and solder, which worked well overall. There was a bit of a learning curve, some tips or instructions would have been welcome. The biggest issue I had was the solder would take long enough to melt that the heat shrink would start to melt thru a bit exposing some of the wire connection. Not enough to matter for my application, however. I found that I had to frequently rotate the piece as I heated it to prevent the melt thru. Other than that, great product and will now be my go to for any wire connection.
