I personally do not like having skids on my slippers -- especially the ones that they give you in the hospital. They are always too thick and hurts my feet with the ridges underneath the soft material. I would avoid them like the plague because they hurt!Not these yoga slippers! They do not hurt my feet. I feel safe wearing them especially on my vinyl floors and they are so cute to boot. I do some yoga but that is not the reason why I picked these. I tend to go barefoot all year long when I am at home. This is almost like going barefoot in the wintertime . almost. I get the protection from slipping and sliding and yet, I can barely feel them on my feet. I. Love. These.I received the black and gray. I have worn the black ones exclusively throughout the last few weeks so it is nice to have a second pair on hand when I have to do laundry. These are easy to wash and they do not take up so much room in your sock drawer. They may not be as warm as the cute fuzzy slippers, but they will provide some safety while walking. I would definitely recommend these. Too bad hospitals don't have these . it would be a huge improvement from their baggy socks that tend to fall off my feet because they're too big, and hurts my feet.
