I wrote mostly practical pros and cons, from the side of VIDEO SHOOTING) I bought for 59 with a normal guarantee. Now there are cheaper options. I bought 5Dm2 and 7D immediately after the sale, and I am very pleased with the camera (there is something to compare with). It seems to me that the choice is OBVIOUS if you are engaged in VIDEO. Paying over $1000 for an improved focusing system in 5Dm3? For the 2nd memory slot? Everyone decides for himself. For photos it is better to take 5D mark 3, for video 6D. Although if you choose for a photo between 5D mark 2 and 6D, then the choice is definitely in favor of the 2nd camera.

- FULL FRAME. Canon's latest full-frame sensor camera. The price is normal, especially since it goes down) - BITRATE. When video-shooting the same scenes, the file bitrate was on average 5% higher than that of 5D mark 3. Yes, yes. Also, the camera does more compression, where it is possible without loss. For example, if we compare a completely black frame on 6D and 5Dm3, then on 6D the file will weigh much less. Perhaps another compression method is written for 6D. - HIGH WORKING ISO. When shooting video, the camera shows slightly less noise than 5Dm3, although the built-in noise reduction is likely to be stronger. And of course, complete superiority compared to 5dm2. ISO 12800 gives a completely normal picture - a minimum of color noise. It is also possible to set limits for auto-iso. - SIZE AND WEIGHT. The camera is relatively light, not big. Pleasantly sits in the hand. Despite the fact that the material for the camera is cheaper - plastic, it is of high quality, pleasant. For some reason, it was easier for me to balance it for a steadic than 5DM2. - SHUTTER SOUND. I personally really liked the new shutter sound, so soft, like a rifle with a silencer you have)) - A BATTERY similar to 5dm2 (LP-E6) in terms of battery type (this is a plus), but with a chip different from 5dm2 (this is a minus). - NEW MENU. I personally really like 6D, it's more convenient than 5D mark III - SWITCH between photo and video mode. Personally, for video, this is very convenient. - DISPLAY. Slightly better quality than 5dm2 and, in theory, slightly better quality than 5DM3 - the fact is that they have different sizes, but the number of pixels is the same. So the pixel density is 6d more.

For me personally, as a video: - SHUTTER SHUTTER 1/4000. In video mode and on 5d, there were the same shutter speed restrictions, so it’s no stranger. In principle, it is not recommended to shoot at such a shutter speed (with a video, the softness of the picture is lost, with a photo - a large load on the mechanics). - SD CARDS. At first, this seemed like a big minus to me, since SD loses in terms of CF speed, but now there is a fairly large selection of smart SD cards. So this minus also disappeared over time. - BATTERIES have a chip different from 5d m2. Therefore, if you bought Chinese batteries that worked on 5dm2 and were charged on the original charge, then on 6d they most likely will not show the CHARGE INDICATOR, and will not even be charged from charging 6D. - NO BUTTON for quick white balance adjustment. Although of course this is not critical, and a matter of habit. Also, the absence of other buttons, such as Picture profile. - WI-FI does not work in video mode. Therefore, for me, its functionality is zero. May be useful for photographers. Works fine on iphone and ipad. Without any obvious problems.
