$11 (as of this writing) for an oversized, fairly well-made PU leather desk pad in a tasteful colorway combo (brown and silver) is a good deal. I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive but stylish this desk pad is. It looks very simple and modern while also protecting the surface of my desk from scratches and spills. Thick enough body form and seemingly durable stitching. No need for a separate mousepad either, though I don't really know anyone who uses those old-school ones you have to move around anymore. Nonetheless, this would eliminate the need for a mousepad.
