TLDR: this hair 1) does not heat set 2) frizzes super easily 3) causes allergies for sensitive skin 4) is not truly ombréI am honestly beyond confused as to how this hair has good reviews. The only good thing about it is how lightweight it is but overall it’s a complete waste of money.Firstly, the hair DOES NOT HEAT SET as advertised causing super frizzy and dry looking ends that unravel. The pictures I included were taken the day after installation. As you can see, after one attempt to heat set the hair with hot water, the ends looked terrible.Secondly, the entire length of the hair frizzes up easily and unravels from the braids. The day after installation, the braiding hair was already starting to poke out from the braids. My knotless box braids from my usual braider typically last me 2 months. At the rate this hair is frizzing, these braids will barely last me 3-4 weeks.3) This hair has caused rashes on my face on the daily (even after precleansing the hair with ACV). Admittedly I have sensitive skin but I have never had braiding hair break me out to this extreme.4) The hair is not truly ombré. I wanted black hair with gradual green ends as advertised in the photo. Instead my braids look almost entirely green which I really don’t like the look of.Long story short, I saved money on the hair but it’s resulted in me wasting so much money on the braids themselves since this set will barely last the month and does not look nearly as good as my box braids usually do. Lesson learned.just spend the extra 10-20 bucks to buy quality kanekelon hair from a beauty supply!
