12/13/17 Update:I've been using the case for about a week now. The seam on the bottom right hand side is not an issue as far as comfort goes. But the buttons are too hard to press. I am repeatedly activating the Active Edge on my phone even on it's least sensitive setting when trying to turn the volume up or down.There needs to also be a small indention to separate the volume up side of the rocker from the volume down side. The lack of tactile feedback results in not easily knowing where your finger is at on the button. This causes you to miss hitting the sweet spot on the button. So even though your finger is pressing the button, because you're not centered on either the up or down, you get hard presses.I wanted to like this case. I bought another similar case by another maker. I won't mention it because I'd recommend not buying it. Both cases have a seam on the bottom right of the case that digs into the palm of your hand. This case gets dinged because of this seam, but not as bad as the other because it isn't as pronounced. Also, I'd consider making the hole for the finger print scanner larger. I like to feel like I'm laying my finger across the scanner, but this case's hole is so small I feel like I have to stick my finger down through the case to access the scanner.Not a terrible thing because you get slightly more coverage, but I would be willing to sacrifice a slightly more open diameter hole surrounding the scanner than to not be able to have the feeling like my finger is gently resting across the scanner.Other positives about the case: it fits well around the phone and looks good. It shows off the "panda" back of my Pixel 2 XL. The buttons are harder to press than I'd prefer. That may get easier with use, but it may not. I feel like it would do a decent job of protecting my phone during a short to moderate drop distance.Came close to a 4-5 star save for the seam. Get that under control and smooth it out and id consider making this my permanent case. Also a bit softer button press would go a long way.
