I have had this for 3 days, sitting outside and unzipped, and still there is an overwhelming strong plastic smell. I do not think the smell will go away. It has not really abated at all. I will be returning for this reason. On the plus side, it is lightweight (really really makes you wonder how it will hold up) and maneuvers well. Despite the nice attributes, The smell is too much for me and I am afraid my clothes will smell like that. Will be returning.
