Rated up to 2.4 amps, .5 volts
Bought for iPhone. Great idea. However, online said 2.4 amps and gave impression it would step down if tech device called for less. iPad's around 1.5 amps. Actual instructions read 2.4 amps. Nothing was stated that it adjusts downward, nor would I expect it to check the needed draw from the device at the given price. At 2.4 amps I erred on the side of caution as Apple's cube is 2.5 amps.
