My father is 89 and is prone to falling. These shoes are light weight and comfortable. He has been wearing them for four months and refuses to walk anywhere without them. He told me they are so comfortable and he feels secure while walking. Keep in mind my father has dementia so we find it amazing that he even noticed. He was shuffling prior to ordering and I thought I would have to take up all my area rugs to keep him from tripping on them. I researched and these were at the top of every list. Even so, I was skeptical given his condition (his spine is deteriorating and his fear of falling). His improvement was such that my sister is ordering a pair for her father-in-law who has similar problems to our father. The caregivers have even commented that they couldn't believe a pair of shoes could make such a positive change in my father's condition.
