This is extremely difficult to clean since you can not even put it on the top shelf in the dishwasher or use hot water at all. The handle it what makes it so difficult to wash. Would not recommendEdit: I ended up throwing this water bottle out due to build up in the handle from BCAAs that I use daily. However, the company reached out to me and provided a full refund for my troubles. If you are using this for plain water and because of the company willing to stand behind their product, I would say to give this water bottle a shot
