This is a large butterfly net with a fine mesh.
I needed a bigger net to capture an occasional bat loose in the house. Our other butterfly nets were too small to catch it on the fly, and it got hopelessly tangled in my landing net. This will be much more humane. This is a sturdy item, easy to assemble -- and it begs me to study butterflies!
- The net is perfect for scientific research projects that involve studying insects
- The net is not suitable for catching insects at night
