This is a really good idea. I love this item on my MacBook. It does its job, although the trackpad feels slightly different everything works like a charm and it definitely protects and prevents grease better than just the aluminum frame. The only complaint is the SHIPPING. Yes, its just a sticker basically. its in a protected sheet that you open like a pamphlet and there they are. The problem I have with this is mine has a forever crease right by the track pad, and a slight bump on the bottom by the track pad. Although this sounds petty, it's not. This item is supposed to be 100% seamless, which the rest is. I was very disappointed in the fact that I open it to find there's TWO track pad stickers and only ONE palm rest stickers. I used the second track pad one because the other was bent, but was left with the bent palm rest one. I would like another one shipped to me in PERFECT condition, but I do not feel like waiting and dealing with MORE customer service with another product.
