I already have desk and table fans, but this one having its own internal battery makes it easy to just walk around the apartment with it.My car's AC doesn't work either, so I've been hooking this onto the passenger side headrest to blow right at me. It's a little awkward for that and doesn't aim perfectly, but it takes the edge off.
