Purchased this for running as I wanted a 100% cotton hat. I did not know what "low profile" means but this hat ended up being way too small on my head (I am a female). It fits around when adjusted but falls off easily due to the low profile and is therefore not suitable for running. I wear it to the lake and to do yardwork instead. Bonus is that it adjusts to fit my 4-year-old daughter's head perfectly and she loves it because it looks like her Papaw's fishing hat.
