I've bought this kind of case for previous phones, and they always did well. Came back to this case for my Pixel 2XL, bought a smoke one and now the pink one.I'm not rough with my phones, but I am clumsy. I drop my phones more than I like and sometimes in the attempt to catch them before they fall, I smack them on the floor/wall/counter/desk/shopping cart harder than if I just would have let them fall on their own. So far, so good! Haven't had a cracked screen with these cases yet!My favorite bit is that they have 2 little "strap holes". This is very useful to me cuz I attach a wrist strap for extra fall protection. (Useful at concerts and dangerous selfie situations)The only negative thing is that with the smoke one I bought, one of the gel sides started separating from the hard clear back. It wasn't too much and the case was still functional, but I bought a pink replacement anyways. That's only 1/4 cases that I've owned.I recommend you not get a clear one because the gel sides yellow quite quickly, no matter how clean you try to be.
