The JOOLA Ben Johns Hyperion Pickleball Paddle - Carbon Surface with High Grit & Spin does make a difference in my performance on the court, but I’m not going to be able to quit my day job and become a professional pickle ball player any time soon! I’ve compared the "Ben Johns” version to a couple of other JOOLA pro paddles and can find no discernible difference. My hunch is that the premium paid for this version pays for Ben Johns pro endorsement. Consider the premium to be a donation to the sport.The lighter and more balanced weight make a big difference when compared to a heavier plastic paddle. If you play a lot of pickle ball, this paddle will improve your game.
