I've had these about 3 years. They are an excellent value. Fit and quality has been excellent. I also have smartwool pants that cost quite a bit more, and I don't have a strong preference for either. I hand wash all my wool and these have held up really well. I also always wear conforming underarmour underwear under them, which means they don't need to be washed nearly as often. This will greatly increase their usable lifespan. If you're washing these after each use, you're doing it wrong. if you're sweating them up that badly you should probably get something lighter.Warning: If you buy the matching shirt it may fit oddly. Read the reviews for that. it is short in the body and sleeves, more like a woman's cut. Still good quality and warmth though.
