I wanted a non-clinging, slouch yet still a 'kept look' top for dance class (salsa). This is a perfect top to throw over a strap-top to keep me from getting cold between breaks. I typically wear a M-L, depending on various factors (style, fit, texture of material, etc.). I'm shapely, curvy, and tend to lean towards less tight-fitted clothes, also. I took a chance and ordered the XL, since I was wanting that extra slouch look. I'll definitely order the M for the next ones, because although I love the XL fit and feel for my dance class, something more fitted would feel better and look more polished when I wear it out with jeans, for example. The arms are as they appear in the pictures (kind of bat-wing style), the purple is exactly as shown, which I love, love, love! The texture is very soft, comfortable and cozy, as most have described here. The sleeves are so easy to adjust, you can push them up or leave down easily and they stay - they didn't annoyingly keep riding up or down when I moved around. The neck can fit as you like, my tank dress was cotton so it didn't move the neck too much. I will definitely shop this top in a variety of colors.
