I love this case solely for the fact it looks sleek and I forget I even have it on my laptop. I have not experienced any heating issues nor have I had any issues plugging into any ports. I would say this case isn't strong enough to survive any major drops but I will definitely protect from the daily wear and tear. I also love the fact it prevents the laptop sliding over any smooth surface. When I am in the field, I can put my laptop on my truck hood and i no longer have to worry about it sliding off. I also love the matte black look it gives my laptop. It separates me from all of the Mac users I work with. I put 4 stars for material quality and durability only for the fact this case wouldn't stop a major fall but I rated the product 5 stars because for the price, you are definitely getting your moneys worth.
