Misleading temperature readings; poor quality

This thermometer is a waste of money! Its temperature readings are horribly inaccurate and have led to overcooked meals in my home and kitchen. The backlight is a nice touch, but the overall quality is cheap and flimsy. Even FOR the price, I expected better. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a reliable kitchen thermometer. .
