Great little tool, it's like a twofer, a flashlight and a magnetic pick up tool all in one. The LED flashlight is very bright, I am able to see clearly in the dark. The magnetic pick up tool is also very handy for picking up small magnetic items that get lost in the carpet, like earrings and nails. When I received the product, I was expecting two separate tools, a flashlight and a telescopic magnetic pick up tool. But I was mistaken. The pick up tool is inside the flashlight; the magnet is in between the 6 LED lights. To extend it, I had to pull the flashlight head up a little and the magnet pops out, then I can extend it to the length I need. As for retracting the tool, push it in then kinda twist and pull the flashlight head at the same time. I am not exactly sure how to push it in but that works for me every time. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
