A filter with a built-in pressure reducer for preliminary purification of cold water from mechanical impurities - rust particles, hemp fibers, grains of sand, household appliances connected to the water supply. The filter is a combination of a backwash filter with a pressure reducing valve. The pressure reducing valve built into the housing allows you to protect lines and water consumption devices from unwanted pressure fluctuations, as well as reduce water consumption. Outlet pressure adjustable from 1.5 bar (0.15 MPa) to 6.0 bar (0.6 MPa). Seats are provided on both sides of the body for connecting a pressure gauge, which allows you to visually monitor the water pressure at the outlet. The control spring of the valve does not come into contact with water. The valve seat is balanced. The built-in pressure reducing valve works according to the pressure equalization principle. The diaphragm pressure is balanced by the control spring pressure. This means that the outlet pressure increases until the forces of the diaphragm and the opposing control spring are balanced. The inlet pressure value does not affect the opening or closing of the valve, as a result of which a change in inlet pressure does not affect the outlet pressure. In normal mode, water flows through the filter element towards the housing outlet. To carry out flushing, it is necessary to open the ball valve, which releases impurities accumulated at the bottom of the filter bowl; the water supply is not interrupted. Convenience of monitoring the degree of contamination of the filter is provided by the transparency of its body. The filter has a large margin of safety for maximum working pressure. The replaceable filter mesh is made of stainless steel and, if necessary, can be replaced with another without dismantling the filter.
