The description said that it was non-slip both on the bottom & on the surface. I sweat & therefore my feet & hands slip while I'm practicing my yoga. This bench couldn't be more perfect: lightweight but sturdy, and great for tight spaces. I leave it out in position and just need to slide if toward me a few inches to use, but it folds easily to put away when needed. It has many positions to choose from, including fully flat.
