I like the features and cradle. The way I have this mounted, it's low and close. It doesn't obstruct the view out the windshield. I have a deeply pebble-grained plastic dashboard. It also curves down at the front. There have been multiple comments about the adhesive plate not sticking. I cleaned the surface really well. I added a couple of pieces of exterior foam mounting tape to the thin tape on the back of the plate and held it very firmly in a less curved part of the dash. This coat rack does the job at a good price. It is a bit tedious to assemble, but you get past that. It seems sturdy enough, but we live in a warm climate so our jackets are light weight. We gave this to our 3 year old grandson for Christmas, parked it in the garage, facing out and then took him outside to raise the garage door. He was absolutely speechless.
