The cat hasn't broken it yet so its better than our last purchase. If you have difficulty with fine finger motor skills, changing the toy on the end is a little more challenging but doable. Needed a set of lugs that were a one piece design to replace the factory "capped" lugs. When the capped lug strips, it's nearly impossible to get original off - unless you chisel off the outer sleeve first. The crochet hooks seem to be fine. The only thing worth using not including the hooks are the stitch markers. The row/stitch counters did not work or fell apart immediately. The scissors are okay.
