The hose I picked up from this brand recently is superb quality wise. According to my experience, the Gates hose I used was sturdy enough to withstand the extreme conditions it was exposed to. I've used this several days now lighting up painting areas, painting for about 4 or 5 hours at a time. It works out well because it's small, light weight and very bright. I read in other reviews that it got extremely hot. This one does not. it gets only slightly warm after a couple hours, but not to the point where you can't handle it comfortably. I bought this for a guest bathroom. We have wood plank flooring in there, and the floor can be cold in the winter. It’s not cold when you stand on these. They are so soft.
