Good product. We have the base but you can also use it without the base. It comes with an infant insert. The canopy is thick and keeps my baby warm in the colder season. The drawer set was pretty much as expected, if anything the drawers were a lot sturdier than I thought they’d be. My only complaints are the drawer handles are a little cheap in that when i screwed them into the drawer themselves, after tightening the screws too tight the treading came undone and i had to order replacements from them. I am very happy with both of these Christmas ornament boxes. I was so happy with the first one that I ordered that I ordered another one. They were pretty easy to put together though I had to analyze it for a few minutes. :) I didn't have any trouble at all with the lid on the box. As long as you hold the handles on the side to move the box around you should have no trouble with the lid falling off.
