An inexpensive battery box plain and simple. Be sure to use the strap as the top dose not secure very well. In certain conditions it could come off. If it is to be used in an external application where exposed to rain/snow, be sure to drill some holes in the bottom of the box for drainage. Also there is no provision for use with smaller batteries. Bought these headlights for my E90 328i in December of 2019 and even though they came with no instructions I still got them installed. Well it hasn’t even been 2 years yet and the passenger side connector no longer works. I’ve bought plenty of aftermarket lights before these are the only ones that failed me so quickly. I can't speak to how well it's worked because it was a gift. I gave it as a stocking stuffer to my brother in law and he was really excited about it. Very wide range of sizes in this kit. They give you more about 10 more washers than nuts and bolts which is nice to have. Each size comes in its own little bag so they don’t get mixed up. I have now had 2 of the 3 go out. The last one to die makes a scary buzzing sound when plugged in. The 2nd one to go out lasted 1.5 yrs. The description says mechanical life is 1 yr. That is about right when you average the 2 that have now died on me. It was only set to go on at dark inside my house for the year. I hardly use my laptop with power cord detached, so over the last few years, the battery has been only used for a less than 100 cycles I would estimated. But now, the battery can barely support one hour. I think despite the battery is hardly used, it just decayed over the time. So overall, for 30 dollars investment, it is an OK deal. I like the dark navy blue of these pajamas with the white touches (stripes on shorts for example). The material is soft. The pajamas are well-made (good stitching, no loose threads).
